Tablespoon Cooking Co. is proud to be part of Greater Cincinnati’s diverse culinary scene. To celebrate Lunar New Year, TBSP’s own Sulin Ngo will be sharing her family’s secret dumpling recipes, which have Chinese and Vietnamese influences.
Lunar New Year is an important and festive holiday not just for people of Chinese descent, but for many communities around the world. Also referred to as the Spring Festival, the holiday is a time for families to get together and celebrate the new year using time-honored traditions.
In this class, you’ll learn about the kinds of foods served during the holiday, the stories and traditions behind them, and get hands-on experience making different types of dumplings and fillings!
Additionally, we’ll have a few extra surprises to celebrate the Lunar New Year. You’ll be able to try traditional desserts and liquors from around East Asia throughout class.
Seating is limited – don’t miss out on this special celebration!
